Moyale fail Capital mission
The soldiers of Kaning’ina from the green city of Mzuzu, Moyale barracks, failed their mission of raiding the capital city in the TNM super league and they return home empty handed.
Moyale, coming on the heels of an embarrassing mauling from the TNM super league defending champions silver strikers, The soldiers of Kaning’ina hoped to rescue 3 points out of possible six, but that was dealt with a huge blow as blue eagles came from behind to win 3-2 at Nankhaka stadium on Sunday.
In this game, Moyale started on a brighter note in the opening minutes, and they were looking confident of upsetting the Area 30 based outfit. Moyale’s fine showings in the early minutes resulted into an opener, Chispin Fukizi beating his former team mate john Soko to put his team infront,1-0.
However, Moyale’s lead was short lived as blue eagles sparkling youngster Meceum Mhone put matters on level terms, 1-1. Both teams tried to double their advantage before the break, but they all failed short as the ref blew the whistle separating the teams for halftime.
In the second half, Moyale started by  dominating the early exchanges, and soon that dominance transformed into a goal as victor Phiri unleashed an unstoppable short outside the penalty box, John Soko (blue eagles goalie) had no chance,2-1.
In attempts to capitalize on their advantage, Moyale brought on Clifford Fukizi in place of timothy Nyirenda. In the dying  stages of the game saw blue eagles wake up from their slumber and piling irresistible pressure on Moyale’s back four, and it was their perseveres which paid off as charles Ngosi’s powerful shot beat charles Chenga Sikwewa (Moyale goalie)2-2.
Blue Eagle’s turnaround was completed on 89th minute when Gilbert Chirwa connected peter Mgangira’s free kick into the back of the net. After the match Moyale coach Nicolas Muhango accepted defeat but was disappointed with two late goals his team conceded.
“We started well but we failed to defend in the last final minutes of the game. On the other side in the second half we were playing against the wind, so that I think it might have an effect.” he said
His opposite number Dekleck Msakakuona thanked his teams fighting spirit.
“My boys had a fighting spirit in this game. They were not let down by the goals they (Moyale) scored, but they managed to fight back into It.” he said
