Bullets return home with a point

TNM super league Blantyre heavyweights Big Bullets FC, on Sunday rescued a hard fought point against Epac FC in a dramatic game at silver stadium. In case you did not go to the stadium this is how the events unfolded.
Bullets coming straight from a 2-0 defeat against blue eagles, hoped to find some consolation against struggling Epac and return home with a sizable amount of points, however that was not the case as Epac took it to the wire.
In the first half, Epac had a lion share of possession and they persistently pressed Bullets’s defense. their efforts were rewarded in the added time of the first half when Ishmael Thindwa rose highest to meet Dalitso Dalio’s corner to put his side in front 1-0.a goal which bullets fans deemed as controversial claiming that the added time were already up when the corner was being played and that led to Bullets aggressive protesters to deny referees to go to the dressing room for the halftime break.
In the second half, bullets came out a far more improved side as they tried to battle for a point. Just over the hour mark bullets substituted Gabadinho Mhango for Samson Chonde (who had a good game against blue eagles) in a bid to find the equalizer.
With less than five minutes of the match Bullets’s pursuit of the equalizer were boasted as Epac were reduced to 10 men following Stain Malata’s red for a bad challenge on his opponent in an off the ball situation.
Bullets did find the equalizer through Diverson Mlozi who unleashed an unstoppable shot and Jailosi Kapalamula (Epac goalie) was completely beaten.
One thing which I have observed from Lilongwe teams recently is that, they are not making it easy for teams from other regions to claim maximum points. Let’s not forget that mighty wanderers returned to their backyard with a zero and that marked the beginning of the rumors that they want to get rid of their manager.
Are we going to see another manager under pressure after LL results this time in the name of big bullets coach? let us wait and see as things unfold.
