Redlions football team coach Collins Nkuna, has heaped praises on their young striker Boniface Kaulesi, describing him as an exciting player.

The 18 year old, former Mangochi united striker has been in fine form since his move from Mangochi to Zomba and has already scored seven goals in seven league games. Kaulesi’s talent hasn’t gone unnoticed, as he was on this Saturday, presented as player of the month for July.

When asked to comment about his striker, Nkuna had kind words for the 18 year old.

“I am happy that he has been chosen as a player of the month. He is an exciting player who works hard in training. He has helped us a lot in keep our unbeaten record.

“He is a player with loads of potential; and he can become a very top striker. It’s rare you see a young striker to be scoring lots of goals in his first season and on top of that he is coming from a smaller team, but he has already adapt to the league.” he said

Kaulesi was very excited to be chosen player of the month and he said that the award will encourage him to work hard.

“I am very happy to be chosen as a player of the month. It’s a special encouragement for me. To play in my first season and win this award, it means a lot.

“I want to thank god for this, also thank my teammates who are very supportive. Now my target is to help my team to win this year’s title.” he said
