Kudos to Sirleaf

Well, today I have come with good news. This news first appeared today morning in the social networks but I couldn’t have just rush and go ahead saying something which I had no base. But now with the reports now being confirmed lets share the good news.
Recently, Malawi national football team, the flames played against Liberia in preparation of their crucial encounter against Ghana. The flames lost the game 1-0 to Liberia, the loss dented the teams confidence going into the doubleheader clash, and the team required a morale booster so that they can gain back the required confidence and motivation ahead of this game.
Guess what, the unexpected happened. In football it’s unusual a team which hosted you and beat you in a match, to be that source of motivation we are talking about here that the flames requires. Yes...The Liberian president Ellen Johnson Sirleaf has given the flames $ 3000 as a morale booster ahead of its crucial game against Ghana. Wait a minute; we are talking about a cool K1 million, given to the flames by the team which gave us a wakeup call that we need to pull up our socks in the game against the black stars.
Let us give kudos to where it is due, as Malawians we thank the Liberian government and its leader for wishing us well in our game and more especially give our players the morale booster, the money will go a long way to boost our players morale, so that they should be more than hungry for the victory against the black stars.
Come on the flames, it doesn’t come any better than this, I know you can do it, you can come back home with the victory.
Go the flames……………
